Last year my image Sea Glass was shortlisted in the British Photography Awards 2024 in the sports category. I was invited to London to celebrate at the Royal Lancaster Hotel. My photo was up against images of some of the worlds most famous athletes like Simone Biles and Rafael Nadal and other out of this world images, I am so grateful to have been selected out of 20,000 entrants and It was an amazing opportunity to go to London and meet some of the best photographers in Britain and learn from them and hear about their stories in this industry. It was also such an honour to be able to take my whole family along with me.
